Poetry writing is my passion, just as believing in Sachin Tendulkar is. So I thought about writing a poem on the Master. But it was a unnerving idea - how to capture the entire gamut of what he means to me, in rhyme that was as easy on the ear as it was deep in meaning. I think I've managed to create something original, honest and beautiful. The best part of it was giving Sachin a copy in person when I met him on an ad shoot. He smiled and also autographed a copy for me - it hangs proudly framed on my living room wall.
